IT WAS very hot in June last year. Three of my friends and I decided to go to Murree. The next morning we drove to the railway station in a taxi. We boarded the Tez Gam and had a very comfortable journey up to Rawalpindi. Then we got into a bus bound for Murree. The Ralwal Dam presented a sight worth seeing Islamabad looked very grand and majestic with its beautiful roads and modern buildings. Before jong our bus began to ascend the hills. Their height went on increasing, as we moved on. Their slopes were covered with evergreen bushes and tall trees. We passed by Chharra paani, Ghora Gali and Sunny Bank, and reached Murree after about three hours. We put up in the Marina Hotel. Every morning and every evening, we went out for long walks were highly refreshing, we enjoyed them very much. Muree is 7,500 feet above sea-level, and we stayed at this beautiful hill stations for three weeks. We were not at all feeling happy, when we left or Lahore
