Sir,
We, students of class six of yourschool, congratulate you on the brilliant result our school has shown in the
S.S.C. examination this year. Seventeen boys have been placed in the first division;
and only one, in the third division. Nine boys have obtained more than 660
marks each, and they are all very likely to win scholarships. All these things
have filled us with great pride and honour. We, therefore request you to close
the school for two days. We shall be very thankful to you for that.
