Sir,
On behalf of the people of this village, I beg to draw your kind attention to
the following:
1. Jallo is a fast progressing village.
It is surrounded by many small villages and has a good grain market. It has
several factories near it. Its population is increasing by leaps and bounds.
2. Its roads are dusty, and its streets
are all very muddy. There are heaps of refuse lying here and there.
3. Drinking water is drawn from the wells
which are seldom disinfected. Flies and mosquitoes are found in abundance. This
town has, therefore, become a haunt of many epidemics like cholera, malaria,
small-pox and typhoid fever.
Under
these circumstances, I would request you open a free dispensary over here, to
save its population from dying like flies. I shall be very thankful to you for
this act of kindness.
