Sir,
Kindly publish the following few lines in an early issue of your
esteemed daily:
The annoyance caused by the rushing bicycles, Tonga’s, taxis, rickshaws and motor
cars in the Anarkali can not be over-estimated. People come here mainly for
shopping, and the distance between one end of the bazaar and the other is not
very long. The richer among them can, therefore, step down from their carriages
and go in, on foot to make their purchases.
It
is expected that the authorities will take immediate steps to prohibit
vehicular traffic altogether in this bazaar. One-way traffic has, I believe,
failed to reduce the rush over here.
I have etc.
