The
goldsmith is well-to-do person. He is a useful member of society. He is found
in every village and town. He prepares gold and silver ornaments. Ladies like
these things very much and they love to wear them. These are of many kinds and
different designs. He has to melt gold and silver in his small furnace, before
he can mould these metals into the desired shapes. He is paid handsome for his
service. But, sometimes, he is very dishonest. He mixes copper into gold,
without the permission of his customers. Thus he is guilty of dishonesty and
cheating. But he cares not a pin for such evils. On the other hand, some
goldsmiths are very honest. They always fear God and do the right. they look
upon cheating as a sin and live like true Muslims.
