The story :
A bee was once returning to its hive after a day’s hard work. Wind was blowing
very furiously, and it fell down into the stream. A dove was sitting in a tree
close by. She saw the bee struggling hard to save itself from being drowned.
She took pity on the little creature, plucked a leaf and dropped it down. It
fell near the bee. It climbed on to the leaf, dried up its wings and flew away.
After a few days, it saw a hunter taking a careful aim to short down upon his
hand and stung him hard. He fired in a hurry, in his intense pain. He missed
his aim, and the dove flew away. She was thankful to the bee for saving her
from immediate death.
