The cat is a
very popular. It is found almost all the world over. It is very beautiful to
look at. But the Persian cat is, perhaps, the best of all. It resembles the
tiger. The chief difference between the two is that it can climb up a tree,
whereas, and it can see in the dark. Its nails are hidden in its paws, and it
draws them out, whenever it needs them. It has a keen sense of cleanliness, and
its body never gets dirty. It hunts birds and small animals, but it a messenger
of death. So they try to run into their holes, as soon as they see it or hear
its mewing. It fears the dog. It is a well-known thief. It steals into the
kitchen to drink milk and to eat meat of fish from there.
