The story:
There was once a large stone lying in the middle of the road, leading to a
certain village. Many people stumbled over it in the dark. Many riders fell off
their horses. Many passengers were thrown out of the carts they were travelling
in. But nobody cared to remove it aside. One day a poor labourer saw it there.
He felt that it must be giving a lot of trouble to all who passed the way, in
the darkness of the night. He decided to put it aside. But the moment he pushed
it to the other side of the road, he found a box placed under it. It was made
of very fine steel. On its top was written: “it is a prize for him who removes
this stone from the middle of the road,” He opened the box and found a hundred
rupees in it.
