The wolf and the lamb story in English.

The story: A hungry wolf was once drinking water at a stream. A little lamb was also drinking water far down. He caught sight of it and made up his mind to eat it up. So he ran up to it and said, “you little fellow, don not you see that you are muddying the water for me?” the lamb began to tremble at the sight of the wolf and said, “sir, how can I muddy it for you, when it flowing from you to me?” The wolf did not accept “Why did you call me names last year?” “you are mistaken, sir,” replied the lamb last year.” “Then it must have been your brother. And you must be punished for his folly.” With these words, he jumped upon the poor little lamb and enjoyed a hearty meal.
