A football
match was played between our school and the tariq club yesterday, on our
grounds. Both the teams were equally strong. After the toss, the two teams took
their positions within a couple of minutes. Then the referee blew the whistle,
and the mach began at 4-30.p.m. The players on each side began to try their
best to kick the football to the opposite side. But their kicks were checked
and returned with equal zeal. Zafar, our fastest runner once carried the ball
near their goal. He then, passed it on to saulat, who shot it through their
goal posts. This made the game very exciting. The players of the Tariq club
tried their best to equalize, but it was all in vain. Our backs offered a
strong defense but, other. Then they started playing a defensive game, and we
lost all hope of winning the match. All of a sudden, liaqat took the ball near
their goal and kicked it so hard that none could stop it. To our great good
luck, it passed through declaring that the match had ended.
