The Eid is a great Muslim festival. it comes twice ayear. it is celebarated throughout the Islamic world with boundiess pom and show. The frist Eid comes at end of Ramazan-ul-Maubark; and the second, immediately after the Hajj. one marks the end of the month of fasts; and the other, the memorable day on which Hazrat Ibrahim ( Alaih-is-Salaam) proposed to trun his dream into a reality by trtrying to sacrifice his son, Hazrat Ismail ( Alahih-is-salaam)/. The muslims put on their best clothes and offer the 'Eid prayers in the Eidgah or the mosquue. They embrace one another and entertain their friends and relations with sweets and hot or cold drinks. They give presents to their dear ones in many different forms. They take children to the 'Eid fair and bury them toys of their ling. The shopkeepers have a roaring business, and the beggars earn a lot of money in charity. The choicest dishes are prepared in every house. they newspapers bring out special numbers, and cinema house compete with one another in showing top-class pictures.
