The bee is a
wonderful insect. It leads a very busy life. It sucks of flowers and prepars
honey which, according to the Holy Quran, has healing properties for human
aliments sometimes, there are thousands of bees in a single hive. The most
important bee is called the “Queen bee”. It rules the hive and does nothing all
her life, except bee”, it rules the hive and does nothing all her life, except
laying eggs. The male bees are called drones. They are very handsome but idle,
and they do nothing but eat honey. So the rest of them are all killed, when the
queen bee is married to any one of them. The work-bees have to do many things
besides making honey. They prepare wax out of their own bodies. Then they make
little sis-sidded cups, with this wax, for storing honey. They also feed the
queen-bee and place its eggs In theses cups or cells, and guard the hive as
matter of duty.
