The story: once there lived a young man in a
certain town. He was very fond of hunting. He went out with his friends one day
to shoot some deer. His little son was sleeping on a cot. He left the boy to
the care of his dog. After some time a wolf entered his house. The dog fell
upon the beast to save the child. It fought against him at the risk of its own
life and put him to death.
When
the young man returned home in the evening, he frightened to see blood
scattered all over the floor. He felt that the dog had killed his son. He flew
into a rage and fired at it. In a couple of minutes, it lay dead on the ground
in front of him. Then he went in with his heart beating very loud and fast. He
was surprised to see his son playing with the goys and a wolf lying dead beside
his cot. He was very sorry for killing his brave and faithful dog. Bu it was no
use crying over spilt
