The Story:
Once a young man was an utter failure in life. He left his house, with the last
ten rupees note in his hand, to have his last meal. He was surprised to find
his fingers unsteady. The note fell down and was blown away by a sudden gust of
wind. In the twinkling of an eye, it was out of sight. He stood aside, thinking
what to do and to do.
A passer-by looked curious at him.
The next moment he asked him to accompany him to have a cup of tea. He could
not help accepting the invitation. On their way, he told the stranger that
nature had encouraged him to face had encouraged him to face the ups and downs
of life once again, instead drowning himself. The stranger praised him for his
decision himself. The stranger praised him for his decision and said that he,
too, had changed his mind to jump into a well, when a gust of wind drew a
ten-rupee note to his feet, just a few minutes back. He felt that the man who
had lost it could afford the loss. “Mysterious are the way of God,” said he to
the stranger, “He has put us both on the right path. It was my last ten-rupee
note that happened to.”
