The
Story: Once there lived a rich old man in a certain city. He had a son. But
there was none to look after him except his fast friend, Mr.Shaukat. Before he
died, he made his friend his guardian. He also gave his will to him. It
authorized him t give what he wished to his son. Naturally, he wanted to turn
it to his own advantage.
When the son grew up
into a young man, he demanded friend kept nine lacs for himself, and gave
nice thousand rupees to him. Naturally, the young man could not bead such gross
injustice to him. He appeared before judge and told him all about himself, his
father and his will. The judge sent for the greedy man and said to him, “This
young man has told me all about himself and thing and, then, you can go. Do you
wish for nine lecs?” “Yes, I do,” replied the greedy friend. “Then,” replied
the judge, “You shall not go against the will. Give him the nine lacs you wish
for and keep the balance with you,” The greedy man could not but obey the
judge. And the young man was greatly pleased with his judgment
