THE MOTOR
CAR is a quick and comfortable conveyance of this age. It was invented in
France, towards the end of the nineteenth century. Its engine is worked by
petrol and water. It can run at a speed of 30 to 120 miles an hour. It can seat
four or five passengers. It is of great use to businessmen and touring
officers. It can take them, by road, from one place to another, as quickly as possible.
It helps them save not only time but also money. The smallest motor car costs
about Rs 4600 in Pakistan. And if it is air-conditioned, it costs a few
thousand more. So only the rich can afford to buy it.
