WHEN YOU want to get a letter
registered, show I to the clerk in charge of registration at a post office. He
will weigh it in a pair of scales, and will tell you the sum required for its
registration. Get postage stamps of that value from the stamp-vendor and affix
them on the letter. Then I hand it over to the respiration clerk once again. He
wins put it in a tray beside him, and will give you a duly stamped receipt with
the name and the complete address of the person to whom it is being sent,
written on it. This competes the process of registration, and addressee will
have to sign a receipt, before he can get it from the postman.
