YOU CAN open a post-office savings
bank account with Rs 200 only. Go to the nearest post office and ask the clerk
concerned to give you form for that purpose. Full up the required particulars
regarding your name, address and the amount to be deposited. Give it to him
along with three specimens of your signature and the amount of money entered in
the form. He will give you a duly stamped receipt, showing the date on which
you will get your pass book. Go to the post office on that day, sign the
receipt and show it to the clerk concerned. He will give you the pass book,
with an entry of the sum deposited by you and stamp of the head-office.
