A RAILWAYSTATION is a very interesting place. It is visited by thousands of people every day. There are some who come here to leave for another city or town. There are others who come by train from different places.
There are others who come here to receive or to see off their friends, relation or important personalities in public life. It is full of great life and activity, when a train is about to come. Passengers come in Tongas, and taxis.
They form a queue in front of the booking-office to buy for themselves. Then they accompany the coolies carrying their Luggage to the platform. It is full men, women and children all waiting for the train.

The vendors are busy selling fruit, sweets and many other things. There are many people standing in front of book things. There are many people standing in front of book stalls looking at books, magazines and newspapers.
Tea stalls and stalls for cold drinks ate having a roaring business. At last the train arrives and we see many passengers trying to get into a compartment or to get down. There are many who are doing so, with the help of their coolies.

Bearers of refreshment rooms are moving about, booking orders for tea or lunch or dinner. At last the guard gives the signal, the train steams off with a whistle, and the platform begins to present a deserted look.
All these scenes go on appearing and disappearing with the arrival and the departure of a train, throughout the day and the night.
